Keeping Cnewr Covid-free

How we clean our properties at Cnewr Estate during the Coronavirus pandemic to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable holiday
The safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance to us. We'd like to tell you about the range of robust measures we have put in place at Cnewr Estate to ensure the wellbeing of all our holiday guests during the Coronavirus pandemic.

We are committed to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our properties at all times. We have undertaken 'Enhanced cleaning for Covid-19' training courses which we have shared with all our staff to make sure that we are following best practice. The Cnewr properties are meticulously cleaned using the best virucidal products proven to be effective against Coronavirus.

Our 'We're Good to Go' Industry Standard mark means that we follow the government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and an official process to maintain cleanliness.
Our cleaning staff are equipped with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in line with Government recommendations and these are used at all times within our properties when cleaning between guest visits.

We are closely monitoring the official advice given by both the World Health Organisation and the guidelines from Public Health Wales along with those from our various trade bodies on the steps we are undertaking. We are then updating our protocols as appropriate.

Closure of our holiday accommodation
"Although the Government advice is not yet saying this, we felt that we have a moral obligation to try and reduce the movement of people – and closing the cottages will help with this. It is not a decision that we have taken lightly, however, we feel it is the right thing to do. It helps ensure the safety of our workforce and means less use of local resources – such as supermarkets and garages and even the Welsh NHS, should someone fall ill whilst staying with us. We do believe that it is likely that the Government will be taking such measures in due course but feel that we need to do it now."
